The Death Eaters... up close... are truly... horrifying. I don't want to think about it... however, I feel that I have to. To see such things... attacking, needlessly, those who had caused no harm... those who could cause no harm.

They took such glee from the suffering they caused. I had heard of such things, but never before could I believe a single person like that existed.

I was told that some spells are forbidden here, and to not mention any knowledge of them. I have found that they are considered "Dark", only used by evil people. I am beginning to understand why.

"That which is corrupt must be swallowed by a greater blackness."

Right now, I cannot stand the thought.

I have not slept well since Christmas Eve. I'm worried that the Death Eaters will attack again. They failed to achieve their goal... is the only bar to their ruthlessness how much amusement they derive? Is it the potential cost to themselves? They will return, I know it.
